Projects One of the major projects executed by HAA Contracting consisted of various contracts associated with the distillate supply from Hidd Power and Water Station. These included construction, supply of equipment, installation and commissioning of distillate pumping station at Hidd. In association with this pumping station, a pipeline with a total length of 45 kilometers was laid from Hidd Pumping Station to Jannusan (Al-Seef district). It involved the construction of numerous chambers to regulate the flow and pressure of the water and was fitted throughout its length with a corrosion preventive system. HAA contracting also constructed the Al-Seef pumping station, which connects the pipeline for the supply of distillate water to several blending stations and onwards to the final customer. Another major project executed by HAA contracting was the extension of the secondary treatment plant for treated effluent at Tubli Bay. This project involved upgrading of existing facilities and the construction of new selector tanks and buildings, supply of new equipment such as clarifiers, aerators, fine bubble diffusion system and blowers including the installation and commissioning activities. HAA contracting carried out all electromechanical activities associated with this project. In the private sector, HAA Contracting has carried out a few major projects, one of which was the construction of the prestigious Resort Spa - Bahrain's first - for Le Royal Meridien Hotel and Bahrain Research and Studies Center.
